Second Life® Private Estate Residential Islands

DreamScape I has a beautiful Isle for sale, on a corner lot. This parcel is a small private corner elevated isle on the NorthWest corner of DreamScape I. As I was preparing the island for sale, the sunset was approaching. The view was breathtaking! Secluded, serene, away from the main island and affordable! This you won’t want to miss! Great starter first time land, weekend getaway or small homestead. 1344 sq m, 307 prim. Come See!

Announcing the first ever wedding held here on our DreamScape Islands. This past Saturday at 430 SL, August 2nd 2008, Laweez Lane and Ferrit Maggs were wed aboard their beautiful yacht, followed by a large wedding party. We would like to warmly congratulate the happy couple, wishing them many, many years of harmonious matrimony together!

Occasionally we have to return objects to residents who lose them here and there and visitors who drop or rez objects on the islands. At times which are unknown to us, SL “loses” these items. There is some hope of recovery of these lost objects and I hope that this tutorial wiki will help you learn about what the Lost and Found folder does and a complete list of steps a resident can follow to recover any inventory that is missing and is recoverable. The steps outlined are specific to the type of loss that occurred.
Unfortunately everyone has lost inventory in SL. It is the nature of this software when the grid isn’t working at its optimum, or even when it is working correctly, things just happen.
You can follow these steps to keep your inventory working at the very best it can!
Linden labs previously put forth a Inventory Loss Reduction Initiative, but always inventory will be a huge problem for residents.
I also learned that there is a little off-world program now that can back up your inventory (some of it anyway) and you might want to check it out. Second Inventory

We have been a little quiet lately due to some unforseen RL stuff but, Venus and I would like to thank all our DreamScape I & II Island residents for making our islands special. It is a pleasure to be able to serve you all and we hope that you are well and happy. Cheers!
P.S. - also like to thank resident interior decorator for her interesting photo contributions to our home and for redecorating for us in our absence (see above).

WARNING to all DreamScape Island residents:
There have been recent reports of a zombie sightings in one or more homes around the island. It appears that this zombie is especially attracted to women who meet the following in-world characteristics:
Please report any sightings of zombies to Venus or myself as soon as possible. Thank you!
For your saftey, should you encounter one of these zombies, we have included a helpful “Hot to kill a zombie” top-10 list:
10. Throw records
Doesn’t really kill zombies, but it’s one hell of a way to clean up a bad record collection.9. Chainsaw
The chainsaw can cut through even the thickest skull and will destroy a brain in seconds.8. Toaster
When swung by the cord, one can get incredible velocity; also makes toast.7. Hammer
Another popular tool. Good for the strong and weak alike, and perfect for the novice zombie killer.6. Fire poker
Heavy, well sized, and very versatile, serving the stab-happy and blunt-crazy zombie killer alike.5. Pump-action shotgun
Most movie characters are terrible with the shotgun, but it’ll always be a popular choice.4. The Old Door Trick
When zombies try to come in, slam the door on its head.3. Rocket Launcher
Legend has it a U.S. college student wrote an essay called, “The Best Way to Kill a Zombie is with a Rocket Launcher.” Who could argue with that?2. “The View”
To kill a zombie, you must destroy its brain, and what better way to do that than listening to Starr Jones and Meredith Viera?1. Motorcycle
Go Milla Jovovich! Her scene riding her bike down the aisle of a church in RE:2 was amazing. A must in any zombie invasion.
